My deep roots in Eagle County began with my uncle, one of the earliest believers in Pete Seibert’s vision for Vail. Summers working on his small ranch in Red Wing taught me about water and fostered my love for rivers and mountains. Working in international business allowed me to settle here, where my husband David and I raised or sons, Will and Ben. They both moved back to Eagle County after college and now work in property management and hospitality.

Being self-employed gave me the flexibility to earn a living through various business ventures and still have time to volunteer for our schools and community. My interest in public service led to eight years on the Avon Town Council, culminating in four years as mayor.  In my current roles, I continue to champion sustainability for the Town of Avon, connect with our immigrant community as an instructor of English at Colorado Mountain College, and serve on the Eagle River Water and Sanitation District Board.

Eagle County isn’t just where I live; it’s my home, and home to my adult children and extended family. I’m deeply invested in its future. I look forward to serving our community with the same commitment I’ve brought to my family, work, and volunteering.
